Sindh and Karachi Police have announced 4000 job vacancies for constables. Sindh Police has announced these jobs for the year 2016. All interested candidates are advised to download the application forms and submit them before the due date as no application forms will be entertained after the deadline. 4000 vacancies for constable jobs of the rank (BPS-05) are available for the year 2016.
Supervision of these positions is by the Government of Sindh and Sindh police. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply by the Sindh Police Department. Application forms for the said job are available in all districts of Sindh, in the Superintendent police offices. Application forms are also available online on the official website of Sindh Police Department. Candidates should deposit application processing fee of PKR 150/- along with the application form for the physical test.
The candidates can deposit the prescribed the fee for the test in any branch of ABL, UBL, HBL, and MCB. Candidates should send the filled up application form and original fee deposit slip for the physical test to NTS Headquarters 1-E, I-8/2, Islamabad. The last date for form submission is November 9, 2016, and no later than that.
The candidates who qualify the physical test will deposit a fee of PKR 400/- for further proceedings. Incomplete application forms are not considerable at all. So the applicants must fill their forms carefully and honestly.
The candidates, who applied for constable jobs (BPS-05) in 2015 and were not selected, can apply again this year. However, if they have exceeded the age limit, they cannot apply. Candidates who are already Government employees can also apply for this job.
The candidates should meet the following criteria if they wish to be selected.
Age limit of applicants must be between 18 to 28 years according to the advertisement sent out by Sindh Police. The qualification of interested candidates must be at least Matric from any Board of Secondary Education in Sindh province. Applicants having higher educational qualification than that can also apply. Police Department has issued the statement that there will be no compromise or relaxation on the age limit, physical fitness, and educational qualification.
The physical fitness requirements for male candidates are:
Running: 1.6 km in 7 minutes
The physical fitness requirements for female applicants are:
Walking should be up to 800 meters in 14 minutes.
Those candidates who qualify the physical test and written test will be called for the interview. The candidates should not bring any document for the physical and written test. The verification of papers will take place during the interview stage. At this juncture, the applicants should bring both original documents and photocopies of original documents for checking and verification. The photocopied documents will be kept the interviewers for a record. If there is any forged document or any flaw in the facts the prospective candidate will be disqualified at that stage. Hence, every detail provided in the document must be factual and accurate.
The concerned department will announce the interview schedule and the examination regions later. They will notify the candidates with accepted application forms through the mail, text message or emails.
